Project Čerevićki Potok

In the picturesque village of Čerević (Srem region), a silvery stream trickles down from the foothills of Fruška Gora, winds its way among quaint houses and gushes out into the Danube. The stream has long been cherished by the village for its ecological, aesthetic and archaeological value (numerous fossils and historical artefacts have been found in its clear waters). In recent years, however, it has become buried beneath several tons of rubble and plastic waste.

Over the next year, Čempres aims to restore the stream (“Čerevićki potok”) to its former glory for the sake of the inhabitants and natural environment of Čerević.
